The next term of the European Parliament seems promising for the sector of the social economy. The event “Social Entrepreneurs: Have your say!”, which was held in Strasbourg on 16 and 17 January 2014, and its final declaration provide for a solid basis for new policies to support the social economy sector in general and social entrepreneurship in particular. Indeed, 2000 entrepreneurs who gathered in Strasbourg have compiled a list of actions designed to support the growth of social enterprises in Europe.
