Social Economy for the future of the European Union
The event " Social Economy for the future of the European Union " will take place on Wednesday the 6th of February 2019, from 2 PM to 5.30 PM, at the European Economic and Social Committee ( EESC) and Committee of Regions (CoR) premises, in Brussels.
As a stakeholder of social economy in Europe, PLS is invited to participate.
Co-organised by the Social Economy Intergroup, the European Economic and Social Committee, the European Committee of the Regions and Social Economy Europe, the event aims to:
- assess the EU mandate 2014-2015 in terms of EU social economy polices
- present the proposal of a European Action Plan for the Social Economy
- in view of the EU elections, have a dialogue with leaders from the main political parties on how the social economy can contribute to shape the future of Europe
