The website SocialWorkplaces will organize on November, the 8th, 9th and 10th, its 8th annual European conference dedicated to coworking. After Brussels in 2016, Dublin was chosen to welcome the event this year.

Almost 500 space operators and users are expected in the Irish capital in order to debate together about the future of the coworking spaces, think about the issues brought by this new spaces and talk about their personal experiences. A ticket currently costs 250€ but the price will progressively increase, until 580€ for a last minute ticket.

The conference will start with the presentation of the Global Coworking Survey 2017 by Carsten Foerstch, founder of Deskmag (Germany). The survey, rare, is always very expected and considered as a reference document. Then stakeholders will take part to masterclasses and workshops. Their topics will be soon revealed.

Concerning the speakers, some names were already released and many more will be added in the following months. Among them:

  • Mike Hannigan, founder member of the Irish Coworking Assembly (Irland)
  • Claire-Marine Fontaine, representative of Sodexo (France)
  • Miroslav Miratov, founder of Smart Office (Serbia)

Vanessa Sans (Spain) and Jean-Yves Huwart (Belgium), both organizers, will obviously be present too.

There are today 11.300 coworking spaces around the world, ten times more than five years ago, and 835.000 members, so twenty times more than in 2011. In 2016, 67% of spaces were expecting to grow and increase their capacities. The sector always seems going to be more successful, what the conference should bear out.
